that said eating almonds can lower your cholesterol. It was on the internet so it must be true. Well it was actually at a fairly reputable site. I like almonds. So they are now one of my food obsessions. I did have trouble finding them for a while - I looked in the nut section (ohhh this sentence could go in so many directions right now!) but they only had smoked almonds there. I like natural almonds. Because we pharmacists are all into natural stuff right? Well anyway, the places to find natural almonds are either the baking section (200g for $3.68 - not bad at all) or the fruit and veg section (750g for $9.95 - slightly better? I'm not quite sure). I am happy with 200g at a time for now. Thankfully an almond habit is a bit cheaper to maintain than a cashew habit. And better for your cholesterol levels. As far as I'm aware. Are there any health benefits of cashews?
