I went to a bargain bookshop today. I don't usually frequent such places, as I am a bit of a snob and worry that someone I know will see me there. However today I was wandering around in a bit of a daze and found myself in one. Don't know what it's called but it's sort of inside the tunnel that goes under Railway Square.

I bought 5 books for $19.75. Two Joanne Harris ones, Nicholas Nickleby, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and another one. Strangely enough I don't remember deciding to buy the 5th one but I found it when I got home. I did pick it up at one point... obviously forgot to put it down. But for $4, who's complaining?

So yes. This is a good thing. I need some easy reading book. Last night I was reading a book called... er... The Code Book before I went to sleep. It's a history of encryption and breaking codes and stuff. I kept dreaming that I had to decipher a message written using a polyalphabetic Vigenere cipher. VERY TIRING. I woke up exhausted. Now I can read Joanne Harris before bedtime. She will be a lot less taxing.
