Tonight was the church women's gingerbread house making night. Which, following the general trend of my participation in such events, I did not attend. However my mother brought me home a kit. Which I think I will start work on tomorrow. It's maybe a little late to begin now. I am not particularly blessed with the gift of art and craft however I am ok at physics and creative cakery so yes... who knows what will eventuate.
As well as being a women's gingerbread house making evening, it was also my bible study end of year bash. Which was a pot luck bbq at someone's house. This means you bring meat and something pot luck. I took naked sausages and a tart. Yep. That's what they're called. Naked sausages. They don't have skins (I think the more biblical term would be circumcised sausages but not to worry) and are very low in fat, high in beef and quite tasty. The tart was a lemon tart from the good people at Michel's Patisserie. I was going to pretend that I made it myself but it had Lemon written on it in chocolate and I knew that no-one would believe that I did that. I don't go in for such frippery.
Tomorrow: the dentist. Plaque removal. I wonder if he'll notice that I floss?
