Remember your PAST, Ross? Thought you were RID of it, eh? NO!

UCL continue to eagerly pursue me, with offers of an alumni card this time. The free offers available to holders of a UCL alumni card clearly demonstrate that whoever's sending them out envisions my financial situation as being a GOOD deal sweeter than it actually is. It's cottages4u and avis car rental - whereas I'm much more in the market for two-for-one at Subway. That sort of thing. Well, I have signed up, but if one single person from that year's intake gets in touch I will be INCREDIBLY surprised. If they did a dropout card I'd be more interested. A fat dropout card. A fat loser dropout card. A fat fuckwit loser dropout with body odour card. The guilt still attached to dropping out of UCL is immense, and still burns. Mysteriously Glasgow University (from which I did eventually graduate) have just done exactly the same thing as UCL, except with them I don't get a card or free use of the library. Because that actually might be, y'know. Useful. It's good to know, though, that I can drop into the UCL library any time I want. I didn't go ONCE when I was there, so I'm interested to find out where it actually is. As for the now, I've dropped out of my MSc at Strathclyde. But I did get a Postgrad Diploma. So does that make me a dropout or a graduate? Am I happy or sad? Flip a coin. Ohhhh. Never mind. Breathe deeply. Calm blue ocean. Calm blue ocean.
