Life is "trying thingsto see if they work" - Ray Bradbury "Joy is a flag you keep flying even as your ship sinks beneath the waves" - Ross, about six years ago. Talking with N. yesterday I find I am not the only one who thinks a mind map is "just a bunch of stuff all over the page". If I'm going to learn something I really have to be superlinear about it. On the other hand if I'm going to create something I have to work in almost exactly the opposite way. The vertical thinker says: 'I know what I am looking for.' The lateral thinker says: 'I am looking but I won't know what I am looking for until I have found it' - Edward De Bono I guess I'm both. I may as well see this as a good thing 'cos it doesn't look like changing any time soon.
