Today I had an early morning adventure. It was very early and very exciting!
I have some friends staying at the mo. Two adult female who were best friends at school. I was friends with one as a teenager at church and worked witht he other. What a small world! One off them brought with her her 9 week old son (who is incredibly cute).
So, we decided that it would be fun to go to a car boot fair as two of us had never been to one before and one of us (not me) was an expert at boot sales. This morning, we got up at 5.30am, got dressed and went off to the boot sale leaving the small boy and the slightly larger boy (Mr WF) asleep.
An important fact to note here is that Mr WF doesn't really 'do' babies and has only ever held a baby once or twice. However, he was keen to prive that he could manage.
So we shopped for hours on end and found some incredible bargains. Four hours later, we made our way home, eager to see how the boys had coped and in typical boy fashion, they had both only just woken up! Hee hee. But what an exciting way to spend a saturday morning!
