I've been for a walk in the country today. In a town where people have closed in their verandahs with louvre windows, the old houses have a massive palm trees out the front, the lawns are watered and the Returned Servicemans League club is the centre of the town. All the churches are side by side in the same street. The air was muggy but the breeze was cool. Lovely. I thought I might like to just keep on walking.
