Soul sapping

Exploring Orthodoxy (click on the wibsite home above, and find it in the left column - sorry too tired to work out hypertexting) briefly mentions being soul sapped returning to real life. I think soul sapped is a good term for me after having spent the day with someone I really can't understand. I feel very bad for not liking him. I mean Jesus would like him, wouldn't he? I don't like to think about Jesus not liking someone. There was the Pharisees whom he called a 'brood of vipers,' which is not exactly nice. But do you think he liked them individually? He seemed quite happy to see Nicodemeus the Pharisee, who came by night very quietly (to quote Jennie Flack). I like Nicodemeus. I hope I'm a bit like him. He came to Jesus to chat about things, work things out, get answers to his questions from the source, the most appropriate and only person who could answer him.
Anyway, holding in all these feelings (are they hate, anger, powerlessness) is very tiring.
having said all that, I feel a bit better now.
