Blogger Idol - not a competition - its about celebrating creativity and diversity while meeting new bloggers and finding new readers.
All I want for Christmas is a No Junk Mail sticker for the letter box. And some chickens for East Timor from the World Vision catalouge. Or maybe a well. And to find a way to convince all my family that I don't want any more stuff to clutter up the place. Stuff doesn't help me. Stuff hinders. Even new socks and jocks will hinder me. I already have too many socks and jocks. They spew out of the drawer and fill up odd sock baskets behind the couch. But I still want the excitment of waking up on Christmas morning with gifts to give and gifts to get. I don't want Christmas to be about getting stuff. I want my family to think about me and who I am and what I would like. Or I would like people to think about who they are, and what they could give of themselves. Can anyone clean? Come and help me out for a day!
Hmmm... This sets a rather high standard for my gift giving.
