I light a candle at every meal, to force me to sit down quietly, to eat and drink, and to remember the presence of God with me.
My new candle is a huge white ball, and it sits on a triangular white plate. It's my God candle, and the plate I've decided (rather obvioulsy) represents God the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
I've had Advent candles, (picture here) The Christ candle burned up until Easter. Then I had an Easter candle, which was a tealight in a glass egg shell. When you put the top half of the egg on, the candle went out. All very symbolic of Easter I felt.:-) Then I had a Holy Spirit candle which was purple. Now I've got the God candle. It burns for 80 hours, so maybe I'll have it up until Advent.
And it was 40% off. Cool, huh.
