I went to church and I still had quite a good day. From my seat slouching up the back corner scribbling away with crayons I called out to the preacher. During the service. Unbelievable. I couldn't contain myself, my mouth just opened and words came out. After the preacher played Money by Abba, I shouted out "where's the dancing?" Very profound don't you think.
I drew pictures throughout the service, got to explain communion to someone who had never seen it before, talked to someone about the yin and yang of being involved in local mission and they didn't blink an eye lid.
(The yin and yang as I see it is a balance between reflection and action, talking and doing.)
And I nearly decided I was too old to stand in the rain. But I ran out into it just to see, and I stuck out my tongue and tasted it, and it was good.
Still baking madly, and sewing (!) and printing with carved potatoes and generally being creative while letting everything else go. This is a familiar place.
