I have just had coffee with a wonderful Godly person. It was so encouraging to me to hear someone else's story about how God has revealed step by step what has needed to be done, and how years later all those little steps are tying in together both for family and for a community. I like to know that God has plans for people and for whole communities, and that the two are tied together. And to hear someone who has listened to God and obeyed. The whole conversation was peppered with God. It was so different and refreshing.
I'm supposed to be somewhere else from about an hour ago, my community group that I feel God has asked me to join. BUt it was really nice to have someone drop in, someone want to talk to me, someone share with me, someone talk about their failures and recovery. And if God wants to use my time that way, I'm more than happy.
I'm in awe actually. We're on different paths and have different giftings, but how do I get to be like that?
