I love it how at Christmas time, every one is visiting families for the whole day. Almost everyone has the day off, and the world is peaceful. It's quiet. As it gets dark people grab a beer or a mug of tea, and go for a walk. Grandpa, Dad, Mum, Uncle, cousin, kids slowly wander the streets in small packs looking for the houses with christmas lights. It's hot, and humid and everyone is wearing thongs. (the footwear) No one wants to go back to the house which is still hot from having the oven on all day roasting lamb and ham and chicken.
I love it. That's the way life should be.
