I really like the idea of cold. I like the idea of being invigorated by a bracing cold that makes you strong and healthy. I like the idea of being one with the rhythms of the natural world. But it is freezing. I'm sitting here in my big thick daggy op shop jumper, and my beanie and my gloves, trying to get warm. But then maybe if I was chopping wood, or telling stories by a fire instead of typing on a computer I would be warm.
