The cake worked

The cake has been eat, and the recipe written down for distribution.

Success! Phew!

Now that I know it doesn't fall apart, here is the recipe:

800g can pie apple (or 4 cups peeled and chopped apples)
2 beaten eggs
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup olive oil
2 cups wholemeal self raising flour (or add 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder to 2 cups plain flour)
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt

Mix wet ingedients, then sift in dry ingredients.
Mix together and bake in a lined cake tin for 45 - 50 minutes at 180 C
I decorated it with apple wedges and slices of apple cut across the apple so you can see the star inside.

Someone called it an Autumn cake today. I like it, but I'm sure you can still make it in spring.
