The Sunday just past was forgiveness Sunday in the Orthodox church. We each bow to the priest and say "forgive me for I am a sinner." He then bows to each one of us and says the same, "forgive me for I am a sinner." Then to each person in the church we say, "forgive me for I am a sinner."
I will write more later. I'm sure Ian would do a much better job than me at describing it all, but I'll give it a shot.
