I'm making tacos. I have no chilli powder. All I found was a Ka-bluey gobstopper.
My lovely neighbours moved out yesterday. The ones we prayed for. We asked God for someone to live next door with whom we could have a little Christian community with, someone that we could borrow a teaspoon of chilli powder from. Now I can't go and borrow some chilli powder. I feel so isolated and alone. I thought I was good at being part of the community. Turns out I was only good at being part of my community with my neighbours.
Our new neighbours, we hear (small town) are Christians. Unfortunately, their moving man told me that my chooks (who used to live next door) had wandered into their house as they were moving in. They weren't happy. Welcome to the country. Welcome to community.
I might have to take them some eggs.
