Let us in this idle moment put that to the calculator.
Let's say 40 shelffuls (sp?) at 30 books a shelf; 200 pages per book; 300 words a page.
My trusty Apple calculator makes that 720,000,000 words. (OK, I'm getting worried.)
I have a little less than 36 years till my three score years and ten. So if I want to read them all, I need to cover 20,000,000 words a year - 384,615 a week, 54,795 a day. Give me a 12 hour reading day, and I have 4566 words an hour to read, which is 152 pages an hour.
OK, I admit that's a push.
Anyone want a book?
