Survived

Well, I survived my Depression Alliance talk. The audience appeared to survive too. And I only got lost twice on the way there. Not to mention leaving my credit card in the machine at McDonalds (fortunately it was next door to the church where I was speaking, so I didn't have to go far to get it back). And of course, losing my last pound, which was going to be my Dartford Tunnel toll, down a gap between the dashboard displays and the casing, which meant I had to drive my mate John, who had been at the talk, to his house so he could lend me some money. All in all, not more than a fair share of disasters...

Meanwhile at Freecycle, I read the following rather worrying message: 'Available for the summer- carry a child in a rucksack'. Is someone lending out their child for the summer to anyone who fancies carrying one? Mysteries never cease. Also, a Trampette has apparently been taken. Presumably not so great an offence as if a full sized Tramp had been taken. 'That's why the lady is a Trampette', perhaps?
