Off tomorrow early to a 24 hour theological forum in the Midlands. Still need to pack, still need to look through the papers that were sent ahead of the forum, still need to print out the directions, still don't know if I've got a passenger going with me or not, still waiting for the clothes I want to wear to dry (I don't seem to have any decent jeans that aren't in the wash). And I need to encourage GB to do his GCSE coursework, and I'm going to home group tonight. Harassed, moi?
Just to add to the fun, after the forum I am going to visit a friend who lives near there, then need to get back to London early enough for The Grouch to go to his home group; then Friday morning I have another appointment at the sleep clinic, then Friday evening we are going to a Halloween party and I will need to create three costumes as no one else is likely to have any ideas. And finally - can you believe it? - I am hoping to go to a Christian feminist conference on Saturday.
I swore I wouldn't get into this kind of rush again...
