A letter received today from the Dental Hospital informs me helpfully that 'the recent biopsy from the left lateral border of the tongue demonstrated evidence of a pyogenic granuloma'. That leaves me much wiser - not.

However it also tells me that 'I have reassured the patient about the benign nature of the manifestations which I am sure would improve vastly after the fitting of BRA'. Now I know how important it is to have your BRA correctly fitted, but I don't see how that would help my sore tongue. Oh, you mean Bite Raising Appliance! Well why didn't you say so? (and what are these 'manifestations'? I don't recall any stray ectoplasm appearing...)
