Woke early this morning so watched the last part of the sunrise.
Found my iPad would connect fine if I stood by the door so was online for a while and Skyped Erin, my first communication in this way. It was good to see her and Gary and have a little chat.
Had brekkie in the room then headed off for Uluru.
Drove around it,stopping for a walk several times, then to a beautiful and informative visitor's centre.
Next to Kata Tjuta and a walk along Walpa Gorge. It was warm,and the terrain is rocky,but the scenery was amazing and my fly net made a fashion statement as well as keeping my hat on in the breeze.
Snack lunch and did the laundry, free of charge in the hotel's machines. Had nice long chat with H and B from our tour. We are a group of 24 and are getting on well together. Our guide Frank is excellent, very like Miggy on our first Canada tour.
