Going down to Liverpool

I have long wanted to do the Beatles pilgrimage thing, so Alan and I caught the train up here to Liddypool for a look around. Our hotel is right opposite the Albert Dock so for our first afternoon we explored round there.

We walked up to the pier and saw an exhibition of early Beatles photos then watched a 4D show with a Beatles theme that included wearing glasses and having water sprayed in our faces! Something different! Lovely architecture around here. Several lambananas too. Then to the Beatles Story for an atmospheric walk through their timeline, music and memorabilia.
