Family wedding.

We travelled up to Norfolk on Friday, stayed at Breckland Lodge off the A11 on Friday night then joined family and friends at Attleborough church for my niece Heather's wedding to Spencer. Alan and I were married there in 1976.

Mum and Dad were married there too, also my aunt. Grandad was church warden and Grandma in the choir. There was a memory book open in a glass case in the church. The page on display included my Grandma's name and dates as she died on May 9th 1975. Dad came to the service, accompanied by a carer from his home. He seemed disorientated to start with but he stood and sang for all the hymns. The wedding was lovely, Heather was beautiful, the bridesmaids classy, and 5 year old Niamh played her part very well.

We got a bit lost on our way to Stower Grange in Norwich, but got there eventually. What a lovely venue. Several of us stayed overnight. We celebrated with good food, wine,speeches and dancing to a funky live band. A great celebration for the whole family.
