It was a wet and chilly weekend, but I enjoyed spending a couple of days in Norfolk with my family. We stayed with Mum, who is adapting to living on her own. She's having problems with noisy central heating and faulty wardrobe doors, but she's on top of the garden and was pleased to see us. We visited Dad in his care home twice, and both he and Mum were keen to hear stories of our Oz trip, see photographs and souvenirs and hear news of our family in Adelaide. Dad could recall details of their holiday down under 15 years ago. Mum and I went to the Easter service at Fountain of Life church in Ashill. We parked in the overflow car park, and inside there was standing room only till more chairs were put out after the 'first half'. I enjoyed the sermon and singing Thine Be The Glory, Risen Conquering Son. Sunday evening we visited my sister and her family at their farmhouse. We had lots to talk about, not least my niece's forthcoming wedding and the pros and cons of getting a spray tan!
