This morning my other cat, Links, put blue paw prints on my computer monitor. While standing on his back legs, he pushed the paint across the screen with his front paws in a very artistic manner. I was surprised at this sudden show of talent, and was reminded of a book that Nessa once showed me of cats who paint.
When I was shown the book I couldn't believe it was serious. It showed cats who were 'artists', along with some of their artwork- colourful splodges of pain on walls, windows, and even pieces of paper. Until then I'd never heard of cats who painted... and until this morning I'd never seen it.
Links is a talented cat... OK, I admit that he's a computer generated MS help icon, but he can do things that Mr Paperclip never could, and he brightens up my day when Mitsy is not around.
