Just thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't noticed.
I wasn't so sure this morning.
Nor was the cat.
Weekday mornings normally start with the following: (1) My alarm clock goes off, (2) The cat starts clawing at my face, (3) I wake up. And yes, that is the order in which they happen.
Saturdays are a little different because number (1) is ommitted from the routine. My better half tries to ensure that (2) doesn't happen either. And (3) occurs accompanied by a nice cup of tea brought to me in bed.
If the order changes or something else happens then I get a little disorienated and I can't work out what day it is.
This morning the following happened: (1) I woke up, (2) My alarm clock went off, (3) The cat hid in the wardrobe.
I tried to coax the cat out, but she'd curled up nice and comfortably and wasn't going to shift, so I ended up pretty much heading in there after her to chase her out. I was reminded of an incident involving a bed, a friend, my husband and the cat. But that's another story...
I avoided the face-claw interface that usually occurs in the morning.
But I it took me a good ten minutes to work out what day it was.
