Bit of a late post but just to say yesterday I realised a bit more that nature isn't just visual but it's all a bit more touchy feely aswell.
I decided to go beyond the thinking bench and see if there was a way down onto the beach. Eventually I found a set of woodern steps which looked reasonably safe, so I decided to risk them. When I had got down onto the beach I did something I haven't for years, stone skimming. I did the whole thing of picking up the pebbles and touching them, to find the smoothest round one and saw how far it would go.
