Bit of alt. culture

Today I toddled off to the capital again in search of culture and adventure. First stop (after a brief trip to the British Museum to use a decent loo) was the Cartoon Museum (strangely enough just around the corner from the British Museum). It is a facinating place where cartoons as a artform are celebrated and their history explained. I would heartily recommend that anybody with a spare hour to lose in London visits this one and supports this small museum.

Then it was off for a wander round the West End, (which meant I bumped into the spectacle which was Euro Pride as I moved from Oxford Street to Regents Street (that is the HMV megastore to Hamleys for those who only recognise geography by retail opportunities).

Finally, on my way home I spotted the Sinner or Winner Guy who has beaten his asbo by moving to Piccadilly and ditching the megaphone. Have to say that although I don't entirely agree with his methods or everything he has to say I was glad to see him & glad to see that the state has not managed to gag him, (although they - the state - did manage to stop the Pride marchers engaging the fundies who held their own little demo, against Pride, in measured debate - apparently).
