Somebody in the civil service has obviously looked out the window and noticed it is rather warm; they've issued a heatwave warning . You might find it helpful to read their (downloadable) leaflet on Looking after Yourself and Others in a Heatwave . Alternatively just have a brief look at article on the BBC site and use your common sense - oh and keep an eye out for your neighbours.
