Despite me having v. cynically thought that last weeks outing to the seaside in posh clothes did not go very well and that I just didn't have enough experience I have been offered the job, subject to reference. (Not that I anticipate a problem with the reference).
The only slight downer is that I am now going to have to see if I can do an evening module with my MA or defer it or something.
I think I am excited, but surprised would probably be honest.
