I didn't get to any of the wierd, wonderful, fluffy or alt type worship things this year. However, I did get to the Sunday morning communion service. I agree with the late Mike Yaconelli that the communion service at Greenbelt gives a glimpse of heaven through the sheer diversity of people sitting down, sharing, in total unity.
I was also pleased that they had ditched alot of the "cringe factor" type bits that sometimes enter the Greenbelt communion service this year & it was a mature service of worship, whilst still maintaining the life, vitality, laughter, and hope which are elements of communion at Greenbelt.
