I've found another one

Every so often I go and visit my dad's website and read through the poetry. As I've said before it's partly because I've recently started appreciating it (now I choose when I hear / read it rather than having it force fed down my throat to see if it works) but it's also because I've found reading through it helps me understand him and in turn his influence on me.

Anyway I've found he's posted this one which I think is kind of good, but also kind of challenging:

Human Without Tag

My gender is male
I rage like a bull
Find it hard to pull
My horns in at vital moments
But that does not mean to say I'm a proponent
Of bigoted views
Tabloid news
I don't excuse racists or homophobes
On the basis they don't know any better
I practice diversity to the letter
Tolerance isn't in my vocabulary
When it comes to beatings and killings
By those claiming to be fulfilling
Some kind of religious destiny
Don't include me
I'm a fundamentalist
Fundamentally believing
All people should live without fear
But not when that fear is unfounded
Built on prejudice
And grounded on centuries of misinformation
My relationships are many
My exclusions are few
But that might include you
If your talk continues to stoke the fires of paranoia
I don't need to be a lawyer to argue the case
For us all to practice justice and love
Regardless of
Gender
Age
Ability
Sexual orientation
Or race
I'm human without tag
And there is space for all of us
Where ever we are.
