Thought that I would make you laugh by telling you what happened today when I went to meet an inspector.
Arrived a few minutes early, as you do & this woman comes up. Well she starts chatting with a series of quick fire questions such as: "Which section do you work in?","how long have you been here?"," is x your section head?"," how do you enjoy that section?", etc, etc.
Well at this point I am doing my best to be incredibly positive, but am obviously showing that I am relatively uncomfortable being engaged in conversation by an "inspector". Well after a few minutes of this the woman looks down, notices her id is the wrong way round and starts laughing, and reassures me she is not an inspector - having realised that I have been convinced that she was & that was why my behaviour had been, well a little strange.
Just as well it happened though, it meant I was far more relaxed by the time the real inspector arrived.
