Ok, so my grand tour of the north is nearly fully sorted, just need to get co-ordinated with the finer details of whether it will be an extra night in Edinburgh, Birmingham or somewhere inbetween and get the last train tickets for the middle part of the return leg booked and I'm there. There that is apart from getting sorted on what warm clothing and layers I actually own, what will fit in my case, buying a pair of walking books and breaking them in, confirming with the very kind people who are putting me up as I stagger my journies northwards and southwards when I will be arriving exactly and so forth.
Mind you I do now know where I'm going vaugely. Last night a UK atlas emerged at housegroup and I was shown, so atleast I now know it's not quite as far north as I thought, just much further westwards. Still looking forward to my adventure, less than a week to go now :D
