British Rituals

There are certain British rituals that occur when the weather changes or there is even a hint that the weather might change.

Today we are going through one of those rituals:
Checking for the snow disruption. Even though it is clear here (at the moment) there is no guarentee it will be just down the road and so we have to get the local radio on just incase either of the institutions we inhabit is closed, or incase the trains aren't running (apparently round here we get more disruption because someone had the bright idea of laying the electric cables for the tracks at ground level).

Anyway thought I would give those of you who see proper weather yet another chance to laugh at the way part of Englishness is a total inability to cope with any weather apart from simple grey and damp or a bit of sun peeking through.
