Tonight BBC Panorama has a programme exposing the truth about Seroxat.
Watch learn and allow yourself to feel very very angry. I spent 5 years on that particular "happy pill" and am all too aware that certain claims that the makers made (and hopefully are no longer making about it) are false. It was not non-addictive and during the early stages of taking the drug it could drag you even further down. If you want to know a little more about my experiences on it I wrote this post last year which talks abit about it all.
What really makes me angry is that apparently they knew, and they particularly knew what the effect on young people was and yet they were able to cover up and ignore all that.
On a more academic note if you happen to be taking any course where you have to look at research methods and ethics you may also find it useful.
