MK Pride Amazing

Spent the day at MK Pride working with a team on the Venture:MK faith tent which took the form of a 15 minute retreat.

Could say loads but amazing covers the whole day. As I heard said MK Pride was an event for the whole community put on by the whole community and in the end it was attended by the whole community. All true and the sun shined down too.

By the end of the day when the faith tent was packed down and the drag queen was singing their last number on stage I was in tears overcome by the emotion of it all. In part because I knew of the hard work that 3 people in particular had put in to making this whole event happen- (Tam, Jo and Nicky are all amazing). And in part it was because the faith tent was a mad idea which actually came to fruition.

The ideas for the contents were a team effort but Rob our Venture:MK pioneer blokey got it all sorted and resourced. He's a top bloke and we really enjoyed working with him on this.
