Well, I'm sitting on the computer next to Third Party in the IT area of the local library updating my blog, so I guess the move has gone ok.

The HBBC household moved into action, around their creative day to get us moving. A team helped us empty and clean the flat and provided food and accomodation on our final night. The next morning I accidently ended up at church, due to throwing an ickle strop and leaving the people trying to use the carpet cleaner to it. Then it was pretty much off.

We did the journey in a couple of stages. First off to Birmingham where we were staying with friends of my dad. It was an ickle crowded there so I made an emergancy call to Never Conforming who was kind enough to let me stay at her place. (More evidence of how this site is not a mere on-line community, but does "real life" overlap aswell). Then on Monday we did the final stage up to the North East. So glad that my dad is an absolute star.

Over the last couple of days it's been getting stuff sorted and starting to mentally register that this is it; I'm here.

Not sure where the computer leads are, (or how well it work having had an ickle accident with the computer when my dad decided it would be easier not to ignore me) and so for the moment it'll be periodic visits to the library to do the online thing.

Prayer would be appreciated with:
(i) the job thing - went to see the uni careers officer today and so now have complete list of agencies, etc in the area
(ii) Third Party's school stuff - appointment with the chosen school tomorrow to talk through option choices, etc before it's all totally formalised and she can start
(iii) Getting to know people. I am currently feeling an ickle isolated. I know this will change, particularly next month when the whole course starts and the movement in and out of the accomodation is complete and once I have got properly hooked into church and stuff, but currently feeling an ickle overwhelmed.
