Real memories
of real people
fill my mind.
Some I've seen in flesh;
some I've only met on line.
Real interactions took place
and real friendships made
with people who I've said real prayers for.
Around the world I've been part of real communities
sharing fellowship and friendship whether I physically met their body or not.
The thoughts of their minds,
wit of their words and
intensity of their struggles
are things I've had the priviledge to share.
Words read on a computer screen from blog, discussion board or status update
giving real laughter
and real tears
which have filled the real rooms in which we've sat
even though we've sometimes been continents and timezones apart.
Looking back I want to thank those real friends
for the real memories they've provided
and I want you to know how much you are really valued
before it's too late to tell you.
