Chilling and stuff

As I indicated in my last post my weekend of self-indulgence was a pure fluke. I certainly hadn't intended to have "me time" doing nothing except reading, walking along the coast to the place where sacred site and pub meet and having a glass of wine and an ice cream before strollong home watching the sun glisten on the waves as they lapped into shore, (oh and doing a bit of light house work).

Therein lies the problem, it was a pure fluke. Had I known that I had a pretty much child free weekend I would have organised something and created "busyness". It says something about modern culture and the way we run our lives that we almost stumble across doing what we most enjoy because there is nothing else to fill the window.

Despite being a non-smoker I have to say I noticed the significance of the weekend, upon entering the pub; seeing that Nicorette gum now hung behind the bar next to the nuts.
