This is the Life by Amy MacDonald is one of the best things I have heard in a long time. It's generally a real summer feel good album with a celtic feel to it, one of those which just by its very nature invites you to sit and chill a while. Personal favourite tracks "Youth of Today", "Let's Start a Band" and "Barrowland Ballroom".
Looking forward to going to the Innocent festival (sorry village fete) in London's Regent's Park next weekend to see if she can cut it live. Have to say that this is incredibly good value at just £5 for adults and £2:50 for kids each day. We've only got tickets for the Saturday, but Sunday has Seth Lakeman amongst others playing and so also looks like worth the investment if you're at a loose end.
