So, dear reader it is time to enlighten you on some of the recent happenings in the world of planet tractorgirl. I am going to start in reverse order:
Firstly, should you get your hands on the Q Glastonbury Review 2011 and turn to page 44 you will see yourselves looking at the Sisters of Percy, (Blue and Orange nuns). Yes, Third Party is one of them.
Next, the bad...well more the rather good in difficult circumstances. On Saturday evening TOH took me to see Jekyll and Hyde. This apparently should have started Marti Pellow, but didn't because according to this little snippet in the Sun a fellow performer had bust his nose on Tuesday. Now, I have to say it was still an amazing show and the fact the touring company had not had a good week and it was an understudy taking the lead role did not deminish from it. What I liked about it was the social comment it made regarding the Victorians and particularly upper and middle class Victorian society. My favourite number was near the beginning of the show and was called "Facade".
Now for the good. I was priviledged to see a couple of people I knew getting ordained yesterday. This was a real priviledge and was great catching up with people in the sunshine afterwards. I would write more regarding the service, but I think sometimes things go beyond words and attempts to describe can detract rather than add anything. Sufficient to say it was v. special.
