Interesting watching music old and new via the BBC's dedicated Glastonbury webpages - once I had managed to work out how to navigate my way around. Beyond realising Morrisey had filled out into a very average middle aged bloke and seemed like some kind of parody of himself singing his "hits" including the odd Smiths number I figured out that alot of the stuff Third Party is into could be described as sort of Folk Pop. There seemed to be rather alot of real instruments around.  Have to say I don't really get the deal with Mumford and Sons but apparently they were "awesome". I do get the deal with Noah and the Whale though. They are the band I most regret not going to see at a festival. A few years ago they were on at Cambridge and I went to see something else on the other stage instead. It was literally just before they got famous. Sharks Took the Rest and Warpaint were other interesting bands with either folky type instruments or that folky type voice which one would have normally associated with Pentangle and stuff.
