This Premier interview with Symon Hill who tomorrow starts a walk of pilgrimage, is facinating and really encouraging. Symon will be talking at different churches along the way and will be blogging at the Repenting of Homophobia site. The walk finishes at Pride.
One point I liked was the way he highlighted that intersex people were created in God's image too. What was interesting in the "call in" was the way that it showed that Premier has a wider range of listeners than one might expect. The first caller was perhaps the "stereotype" we might have in our minds, but actually it is a good station that has some interesting stuff on and so is listened to by a range of people.
What is acknowledged in the interview, which often isn't publicly, is that lots and lots of people are confused on the issue but confusion and thinking through things isn't a bad thing.
