I discovered a few months ago that the newsagent round the corner from me sells the Methodist Recorder. Today I went in, expecting there to be the usual two or three copies sitting there and there was a gap...infact there was a huge gap with the Jewish Chronicle and various other of the ethnic/ religious newspapers they stock missing. I enquired and was told that the Methodist Recorder had sold out.
Having checked the link I can see nothing unusual that may have caused this. Anybody got any ideas on why this ickle estate in the back end of the North East may have had a sudden rush on these papers?
