Apologies if I worried anybody yesterday with my Prince moment and thanks for the comments which show you guys care. The explanation was that I had previously posted a very self-pitying post (since deleted so no point looking at the archieves) about how I was stressing about Greenbelt. I came home from work wanting to change my miserable post for something an ickle more happy and chose to express that, simply, through a symbol.
What I find interesting though is the way people respond to different types of post. Very occassionally I write, what I consider are posts worth reading on sensible topics and am lucky if I get more than two comments; I put down one symbol and my comment box overfloweth (? and :) both had that effect). Also I have found that my readership stats jump up if I give my post a title which could, if one chose to read in a particular way, indicate I was about to talk about my sexual orientation (which just ain't gonna happen on here).
What this all tells us about the wibsite I'm not sure. Anyway I must be up and off to work to get the latest set of statistics (it's GCSE results day). Good wishes to those of you on here who are going to be doing similar today and particularly to anybody who may be recieving exam results for themselves.
