So it is Christmas again and I am spending it with family (inc TOH). We are in a picture postcard village which is currently really icy. This morning saw us visit a delightful country church, worshipping with the Tory Party at prayer. I was struggling to deal with some of the memories of my grandma and Christmas past....but was reminded through the stranger sitting next to me about how much Christmas is about being there for others. In a brief moment I was priviledged to share the memories of those she had lost.
Then it was off to discover in the brief communion service that followed that TOH really does know Common Worship off heart. You can take the girl out of Anglicanism but not Anglicanism out of the girl ;)
