TV voting and community funding, something which isn't great but exists. This Thursday sees the chance for the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts to get some money through the public vote. The project is exciting and appropriate.
Based in the town nearest to where John Peel lived there is a building which has been empty for fifteen years. Those involved in the project want to turn it into an arts centre. Knowing a little about these things and the area I would support it on the grounds of it will benefit local youth particularly and is something good for a semi-rural area.
Go on, vote for it in the Peoples Millions on Thursday, makes more sense thana phone call for Ann Widecombe and it would be a tribute truly in the spirit of Peel.
