The field

My screen name is linked to my football allegiance and my blog title relates partly to my screen name (i.e. tractor and field).

However, the title also relates to the fact I spend a vast amount of my time wading through the mud in the field which is called life. Now, I don't know if that's because I'm a particuarly bad driver who keeps falling of the track or whether I am moving through uncultivated marshland much of the time.

Sometimes I end up getting bogged down where I've been before and should know to avoid. Other times I get bogged down in different parts of the field which just look a little similar. At the moment I think I am in a different spot which just gives me a familiar view. I think I really need to renew the tractor, but I don't know how to do it without leaving the field for a while (and that folks just ain't an option right now). In the mean time I am trying to avoid the areas which give me most grief, however I have found that navigating around those areas brings a whole load of seperate hazzards to navigate.

Perhaps I should just give up on the field analogy and follow Forest Gump's view instead and just think of it all as a box of chocolates.
